If you are thinking or considering having a loft conversion built, here are a few advantages and positive reasons why this type of conversion can be the right choice for you. Loft conversions have always been  good value for money,  this will definitely increase living space and will enhance and complement your existing home.

Loft conversions are one of the best pound for pound investments you can make. The value most conversions add to the existing property outweighs the build cost, not to mention the improvement to your living standards by having additional space.

A conversion to your present home also has the bonus of avoiding the upheaval and expense of moving. Most lofts will take a double bedroom and en suite without planning permission (You are allowed to increase you living space by up to 50 cubic metres without planning permission).

We do have a full structural and architectural service available, and we would guide and take you through the process. The design and drawings can take approximately two to three weeks to process. If you want or need to exceed the 50 cubic metres you will require planning consent this can take up to twelve weeks to process. Both permitted development and full planning builds will also require building regulations.

We can take care of all the form filling and liaising with the local authorities, this would give you time to plan the layout, and finishing specifications of your new dream loft conversion. These still photographs illustrate that almost every type of mid terrace, end of terrace and detached house can take some form of conversion.
